How to use this tool
Paste an XML document and process it to check its syntax and format its structure. Enable compact output to remove indentation between elements.
Up to 1 MB per input and 128 levels of nesting. JSON comparison preserves array order and rejects unsafe integer values. XML validation checks syntax, not a schema; DTDs and entity declarations are rejected. Formatting can change indentation whitespace.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are my files uploaded?
No. The browser downloads the application code and processes your selected files locally. File contents and pasted text are not sent to a conversion service.
Why might a file fail?
The file may exceed the limits, use an unsupported format or require more memory than your device can provide. Try a smaller file. Encrypted PDF documents cannot be processed.
Can I stop processing?
Yes. Cancel terminates the local processing worker and clears the current results. There is no server job to wait for.
Where are the results saved?
Choose Download to save a result using your browser. Until you download it, the result stays in this tab and is cleared when you leave or clear the tool.
Does the tool work offline?
The page and its processing libraries need to load first. Browser caching may allow later use without a connection, but offline availability is not guaranteed.
Reshaping data by hand again?
A payload you have to fix in a browser tab every time is a job for code. We build the integrations, parsers and services that move data between systems, and we repair the ones that quietly corrupt it on the way through.
